Daimler Truck North America has a telematics portal, Detroit Connect. It is an old design and has not evolved with web technology. I was tasked with creating a proof of concept of a responsive portal in order to pitch the idea to leadership. The turn around time was very tight — a week for initial design and 3 additional days for revisions. I used Daimler Truck branding, which is very subtle, in order to keep the design clean and simple. The prototype is fully functional. I presented to members of local leadership and trained them in using Figma's presentation tools for presentation to global leadership. Leadership is currently aligning related departments for planning and implementation.
