Oklahoma City Community Foundation Scholars Yearbook

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation publishes a yearly magazine announcing its scholarship award recipients. In 2019, the theme was superheroes. The usual formal typographical treatment was traded out for bombastic, loud, comic book style typefaces for all headlines. The body copy used the brand standard typeface. The brand’s usual flat background colors were replaced with a half-tone treatment, reminiscent of the dot patterns of early comic book printing which was stylized during the pop art movement. Brand colors used at full saturation to give the book a more vibrant, youthful feel.
